Install or remove apps on a device
How to remotely install applications on a managed device, or uninstall ones it no longer needs, from ZenAdmin MDM.
Where your MDM provider supports app management, you can push applications to a device — or pull them off — without touching the machine.
How do I install an app remotely?
- Open the device from Mobile Device Management → Devices.
- In the Application card, click Manage Application.
- In the Application Available tab, pick the app — the list is already filtered to the device's operating system — and click Install.
How do I uninstall an app?
In the same drawer, switch to the Application Installed tab, select the apps to remove, and click Uninstall.
The device's Application card lists everything installed, with type, version and size, so you can verify the change after the next sync.
