Understand the MDM Summary
What the MDM Summary dashboard shows — active and encrypted devices, compliance, and breakdowns by OS, manufacturer and department.
Mobile Device Management → Summary is the fleet-health view. Pick your MDM provider in the header and the dashboard shows that provider's data with its last-sync time.
What's on the dashboard?
- Device counts — active devices, inactive devices, users, and encrypted devices.
- Compliant devices — how much of the fleet meets its assigned policies.
- Recent active devices — what's been checking in lately.
- Devices by operating system and by manufacturer — the shape of your fleet.
- Devices by department — where the devices sit in the org.
- Devices / Apps — the application footprint across devices.
Use it to spot problems worth drilling into — a compliance dip or a batch of inactive devices — then jump to the device list for the detail.
