Bulk-import employees from a spreadsheet

Moving off a spreadsheet? Team Bulk Upload brings everyone in at once.

Steps

1. Open Employee Directory → Team Bulk Upload.
2. Data Type — choose what kind of data you're importing.
3. Upload — drop in your CSV or XLSX and pick the sheet.
4. Field Mapping — match your spreadsheet's columns to ZenAdmin's fields. The mapper shows every target field, so nothing lands in the wrong place.
5. Confirmation — review the results; any rows with problems are called out so you can fix and re-upload just those.

Spreadsheet or HRIS?

If your people data already lives in an HRIS, prefer syncing from the HRIS — it stays current automatically. Bulk upload is best for one-time migrations and data that has no other system of record.
