Software Management replaces the license spreadsheet. Track your application stack, see exactly who has access to what, put costs against every seat, and find the spend you're wasting on unused licenses.
The module's tabs:
- Overview — your SaaS posture at a glance: spend, active users, and what needs attention.
- Applications — every tracked app and its user counts.
- Access Matrix — the people × tools grid of who can access what.
- Billing — costs, renewals, and AI-assisted invoice ingestion.
- Catalog — integrations you can connect for automatic usage data.
- Waste & Insights — dormant seats and what they cost you monthly.
- Users — everyone in the org and the apps they hold.
Terminology
- Apps are Integrated (synced automatically via an integration), Manual (tracked by hand), or Hybrid (integrated, with manual provisioning too).
- Licenses and seats mean the same thing. Pricing is either Fixed licenses (a set number bought up front) or Pay as you go (per assigned user).
- A Dormant seat is an active seat unused for 30+ days — that's what Waste & Insights adds up.
Seeing different tabs?
Some companies still see the earlier layout (Summary · Software · Users). The flows are the same at heart — "Software" is the Applications list — and your account manager can enable the full experience.
