Put a device into maintenance
How to mark a device as Under Maintenance in ZenAdmin and bring it back into circulation afterwards.
When a device needs repair or servicing, take it out of circulation by putting it into maintenance.
How do I mark a device as under maintenance?
- Open Inventory Management → Inventory.
- Find the device and choose Add to maintenance from its row menu (also available on the device's detail page).
The device's status changes to Under Maintenance. While in this status it can't be allocated or deallocated.
How do I take it out of maintenance?
Use Remove from maintenance from the same menu. The device returns to its previous state and is available for allocation again.
