Manage archived devices
How to view, unarchive, edit or permanently delete archived devices in ZenAdmin.
Archived devices live in their own list, out of the way of day-to-day work but never lost.
How do I see archived devices?
Open Inventory Management → Inventory, then Actions → View archived. The archived list supports the same search, filters and CSV export as the main inventory.
What can I do with an archived device?
From each row's menu:
- Unarchive — return the device to active inventory as Unassigned. Also available from the device's detail page.
- Edit — update the archive details (reason, disposal information).
- View more details — the device's record and history in a drawer.
- Delete — permanently remove the device. This cannot be undone, so prefer keeping devices archived unless the record was created by mistake.
